North District Development Meet Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2024
CONGRATULATIONS to our Team Purple swimmers who took part in the North District Development Meet which was hosted by our club at Inverness Leisure.
Team Purple Saturday was Matthew, Madi, Leah, Tyla, Dougal, Isla Macken, Gillies, Sylwek and Madi M.
Team Purple Sunday was Matthew, Madi, Leah, Joe, Dougal, Isla Macken, Gillies, Sylwek, Nathan and Madi M.
Unfortunately a few swimmers had to withdraw before the meet but the team missed you!!
What a great competitive meet for the swimmers with lots of close heats and some superfast times! Great having our younger swimmers competing at a North District event and you smashed it!! For all our swimmers some great PB’s, effort and lots of learning too! It was Madi B’s last meet competing for IASC and she smashed it, well done Madi you did all the events and got some brilliant PB’s.

A HUGE THANKS to the volunteers that helped ensure we could host the meet this weekend. Some parents/carers took on a few shifts, some without swimmers competing so thanks so much. You ensured the smooth running of the meet so without you the club could not have hosted this meet and the swimmers could not take part. As always this thanks includes our convenor, coaches, recorder, announcer, AOE, Marshalls, runners, helpers at the front desk, medals and raffles and anyone else who helped make sure the meet was a success. Thanks also to ND for hosting the meet at Inverness and to all the clubs that attended and make it a successful meet.
Some fantastic baking from the swimmers who are attending the HST Camp in October. Well done everyone and hope you raised lots of pennies.
