Open Water and Team GB Training

Fantastic weekend for Team Purple Swimmers Kessock Ferry Swim for Team Purple Swimmers. Our very own Sandra Lee who first made her splash in the 1940's, along with another resident had the honour of setting off over 230 swimmers on their way with the sounding of the starting horn. Lara came in at an amazing 3rd place (top female) with Anna in 20th place and Katie 24th. Aliesha has just left the club also took part and for the 2nd year in a row proudly wore her IASC Cap. Well done everyone that took part in the event. Great effort.

Matthew is also down in London and has been training with Team GB ahead of the British Championships in November. He will be competing in 8 events in November. Waiting on some pics from the training session which will be added to Team News on TU.
