Thurso Open Meet News

Fantastic weekend at Thurso Open. What a great show of Team Purple swimmers who did the club proud with their swims, team support and super loud cheering. Some great results. Lots of wigs, tattoos and hats being worn. Unfortunately not enough photos of the boys wearing the hats etc, next time!!!

Thanks also to the coaching team of Chris, Matty and Shona and to all the volunteers whether Technical Officials or those who work in the background to make it happen. Thanks to Thurso for being fantastic hosts as always.

Open 50m Free both Caitlin and Tyla made the finals with Rebecca being in an exciting swim off with Olivia from Lochaber for a second reserve place. It was really exciting with Becky just being pipped by 0.05. Great effort Becky. Lachie was also a first reserve for the final.
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Anwen who won the 🏆 Spargo Shield 🏆 for Top Age 10 and under Girl. Well deserved with lots of fantastic swims and great PB's.
