Sandra Lea - Lifetime Membership IASC

Last Saturday on our Loch Ness Boat Trip our very own Sandra Lea was presented with a lifetime membership of IASC by Fiona and Matty on behalf of the junior swimmers, the masters swimmers, the committee and the coaching staff.

It was a total surprise to Sandra who was presented with some gifts by Misha and Ellie who were the youngest IASC swimmers on board. Sandra has given up so much time to IASC and in particular, with our Masters Squad. As well as being an active swimmer at National and International level, she has held numerous roles with the Club including managing the masters as Treasurer, being the Masters Representative to the club, Covid Officer, supporting Masters meets by time keeping and judging and much more besides. There is a good chance the

Masters squad wouldn't exist today if it wasn’t for her hard work.

We understand she still holds around 20 Scottish masters records!

Sandra is a poolside official who still helps the club out as well as with Disability swim training. For those of you swimming at Forres this weekend, look out for her poolside.
