IASC Halloween Mini Meet
IASC loved hosting our first ever Spooky Mini Meet and the 142 swimmers from all the attending clubs were absolutely brilliant. Thanks for all the positive feedback from all the the visiting clubs and it was a great atmosphere. Thanks also to all the clubs for agreeing to share Team Photos, any photos not received yet we will get added later. A massive well done to all swimmers and Congratulations to all the Age Group Trophy Winners and to IASC who won the Denis MacKintosh Club Trophy. Denis has done so much for the club over the years and the committee were delighted to name the first ever Mini Meet Annual Club Trophy after this wonderful man. 🏆😍
Firstly we would like to thank Orion Group for Sponsoring our event. Great sponsors, they also donated the 14 Hot Heat Bags along with some raffle prizes. It was also great to see some “Spooky” Caps in the water yesterday. We would also like to thank everyone who supported the fundraising yesterday which was all in aid of Matthew McCreadie and his family attending the GB Down Syndrome Championships at Crawley in November and to support GB training and other National and International Events. The draw for the Nintendo will take place on Sunday 8th December at the ND Age Group Meet, so there is still time to buy tickets!!
This meet couldn’t have happened without the hard work of all the parents, carers, volunteers, technical officials, dry side helpers, coaching team and from generous raffle donations from businesses and club members. We look forward to hopefully doing it all again next October All event winners are now Record Holders for the Spooky Mini Meet so perhaps New Records in 2025!!
Very proud of our Team Purple Swimmers - what a brilliant group of young swimmers for our first ever Spooky Halloween Mini Meet. Some fantastic swims, great PB’s but most of all Team Support. The dance off was great during warm up - some great moves, a practice for the Awards Night at the start of 2025! Chris judged and voted Emrys Top Dancer!! 👏
