Young Leaders and Well done Madi
A very belated CONGRATULATIONS to Madi who passed her L2 SSTQ in September. Madi is now at University and Swims with University of Stirling although is still affiliated to IASC and comes back during holidays to the club to help coach.
Tyla and Lachie headed down to Nethy Bridge this weekend on the residential Scottish Swimming Young Leaders Squad, part of the Young Volunteers Programme.
The course focuses on nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, and communication skills among young volunteers. This will encourage her to take on responsibilities and actively contribute to the success of events and activities within the club. Tyla will be part of a group of young swimmers from North and Midland.
Tyla will join the IASC current Young Leaders Group of Caitlin and Lara. Other Young Leaders who swam with the club were Madi B and Megan. Hopefully next year we will have some more swimmers take part.If any IASC swimmers are interested in Future Young Leader Courses please speak to the coaches or a contact the Chair or General Secretary.
