Matthew - GB Down Syndrome Swimming Championship Success

An amazing weekend for Matthew at the GB Down Syndrome Swimming Championships.

Matthew came away with a number of medals and some fantastic PB's

Matthew won an Overall GB Championship Silver Medal for 200m Fly making the Podium.

Lots of great Feedback from Shona - A good first day with Matthew taking over 7 seconds off his 200 Freestyle. Sunday started with a 200 fly which he has only ever swam once before in competition. Matthew came 2nd overall with a 7 seconds off his entry time and got a silver medal on the podium!

Quick turnaround and back into the water for his 100BC. Sun afternoon Swam a great 400m FC for his first time ever in competition. Knocked a whopping 21.69 seconds off his entry time placing 3rd in his age group. His 50 BC was another good swim with him just coming in over his entry time and placing 4th in age group.
