Atlantis Timetable

Most of my swimming was with Mitcham Clarion and my main stokes were breaststroke and backstroke. I swam to County and Regional standard and we did most of our swimming in a league format, every other week during the season. I swam up until I was 17 when I signed apprentice’s forms with Wimbledon FC and had to train full time.

I have been coaching sports for over 35 years - mainly football and athletics and returned to swimming coaching whilst my sons swam for Croydon Amphibians. Initially, I took the land training and then began work with the swim squads. I have also worked with the Surrey Beacon squad and, as most of you know, I’m now coaching the Bronze and Atlantis Squads. If I had one bit of advice for the swimmers it would be to enjoy your time swimming and listen to your coach!!
