Sir Jack Petchey CBE founded the Jack Petchey Foundation in 1999 to recognise the positive contributions young people make to society and assist them in achieving their potential. The foundation supports programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11-25 in London and Essex and have invested over £110 million in such schemes.  

The Achievement Awards is a peer recognition scheme operating in grass roots youth clubs, youth organisations, secondary schools and uniformed organisations.  There are currently over 2,000 schemes running.  Award winners receive a certificate and pin badge and are invited to attend a Jack Petchey ceremony to be presented with a medallion in front of their families and friends.They will also be able to choose, from a wish list, how best to spend a £300 award to benefit the whole club.

September - November 2025

Angelika Seretis - She is such a hard working person and she always pushes herself to her limits. Even when she says she can't do it, she gets in the pool and tries her best. Alongside all her other sports that she does, she really dedicates herself to each sport and she also creates an amazing environment to be in. She is always so cheery and fun to be around.

Harry Gould - Harry has always been a great training friend. At a recent gala his support and encouragement helped me make it to the end of a challenging race.

Isla Sanders - She is punctual, Always Positive, Always works hard Isla never complaines and for the first time has achieved Kent times because of her dedication and commitment to her training. Isla also turns up early and completes her Pre pool warm up

Florence Forwood - 

Florence truly embodies the spirit of a supportive and dedicated swimmer. Her kindness and caring nature shine through in everything she does. She's not just a hard worker who always gives her best; Florence genuinely looks out for everyone around her, offering unwavering support to her peers and even the coaching team.

Beyond her personal commitment, Florence is an incredible role model for all our swimmers. She readily takes the lead, whether it's guiding warm-ups or performing demonstrations that inspire others. At competitions, her presence is invaluable as she offers calm support and expert guidance to her teammates. Florence's selfless dedication makes her a valued member of our team.

Sofia Lucchini - Sofia, a swimmer of remarkable dedication, consistently demonstrates her commitment to the sport through diligent training and unwavering focus on her challenging goals. This steadfast approach has not only honed her skills but also significantly boosted her confidence. Beyond her personal achievements, Sofia actively supports the young aquatic helper program, sharing her expertise and passion with the next generation of swimmers.

Adrianna Karabacz - Adrianna is an incredibly dedicated and positive team member. She consistently works hard, always offering enthusiastic support and cheering on her teammates, whether it's during competitive galas or tough training sessions. No matter how challenging a swim set might be, Adrianna's unwavering positive attitude shines through, always with a smile on her face.

Bessie Mack - Bessie is a hardworking individual who always tries her best. Her dedication is truly paying off, as evidenced by her impressive progress in the pool. This clear improvement in her swimming is a direct reflection of her commitment and the effort she consistently puts in. Over time, her confidence has grown significantly, making her an even stronger swimmer. Beyond her performance, Bessie is valued by her teammates not just for her effort, but also for her infectious humor; she consistently knows how to make them laugh, even after a particularly tough session.

Peter Andrianov  - Peter is a truly valuable and hardworking member of the team. He consistently puts in the effort and is always ready to welcome new swimmers, patiently showing them the ropes. His support for his teammates is unwavering, and he happily leads pre- and post-swim stretching, often adding a fun touch with a little singing. What truly sets Peter apart is his dedication to improvement; he focuses and works hard on any feedback given, demonstrating a strong commitment to his own development and the team's success.

Artem Baliuk - Artem is an incredibly dedicated and focused member of the team. He consistently works hard and demonstrates remarkable initiative, always arriving early to stretch before a session and staying afterward to stretch as well. You never need to repeat instructions to Artem; he actively and independently does what's required of him without being asked. His commitment to improvement is clear in his very focused approach and the way he tries his best in every aspect.
