Mobile phone and photography policy for members

It is a criminal offence to take, make, distribute, upload and/or possess any indecent
image of a child (including those taken/possessed by other under 18 year olds), in
the changing rooms or on poolside during training sessions and at galas.

Images such as these are often used to isolate and embarrass a child amongst their
peer groups or exploit them.

WE URGE ALL SWIMMERS TO ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION AND TO NOT
USE MOBILE PHONES AT ALL IN THE CHANGING ROOMS AND POOLSIDE.

We understand that mobiles are a necessity for many swimmers in order to contact
their parents etc, and are not banning their use under normal circumstances.

If you need to use your phone make sure it is not in the changing room.

If you see anyone that is filming or taking photos, please let a member of staff know
as soon as possible as disciplinary action will be taken.
