Essex County Championships - Weekend 2

A huge congratulations and well done to all of our Essex County Qualifiers for their amazing swims and results last weekend. It was fantastic to see all swimmers continue the great work from Weekend 1 in January and continue to PB, final, and medal across multiple age groups.

A successful weekend saw NUEL SC claim 27 individual Top 10/Finalist swims and a further 3 Top 10 relay swims. Amongst the 30 Top 10/Finalists were 13 medals (6 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze).

This took our total Counties performance to 56 Individual Top 10s and finals and a further 7 Top 10 relay swims. 

A total of 23 medals (7 gold / 9 silver / 7 bronze)

A big congratulations to Margarita and Sami who both secured Essex Best Times for there age groups (see table below).

Sami finished 5th overall in the Boys 17 age group points standings.

Jason finished 5th overall in the Boys 16 age group points standings.

Sakura finished 4th overall in the Girls 14 age group points standings.

All 3 swam brilliantly across the two weekends in a wide range of events to finish in the top 5 of their age group.

Margarita also swam brilliantly across the two weekends. With her last race of the weekend, she finished 1st, which saw her secure joint 1st as Top Girl for her age group (15 y/o). A massive well done to Margarita!!
