WSSC Club Championships: Open for Entries

WSSC Club Championships 4ER252723 - 21st - 23rd November
Please be advised that all information relating to the Club Championships is now on the Events page of the website/OnDeck and online entries are now open. Club Championships is open to all but there are some restrictions on races so please check the programme of events.
Masters Swimmers - as always, you are welcome to enter. If you would prefer to swim in a heat with just Masters swimmers, please still enter in the usual way, but let us know via email ([email protected]) and we will create a different heat. Please note this will be subject to numbers and timings.
400m Freestyle:
As detailed in the conditions document, 400m freestyle will run as an unlicensed time trial during a training session in both the Bury & Haverhill pools (Tuesday 4th Nov at Haverhill with a 5.30pm warm up; and Friday 7th November at Bury with a 5.30pm warm up. Normal training will be cancelled on those evenings). If, at this time trial, a swimmer achieves the Suffolk County qualifying time for their age group, they can (if they wish) enter the 400m freestyle in session 3 of the club champs to gain a licensed time. For any swimmer not achieving the county time, a waiting list will be created and any space in the session will be allocated in order starting with those whose time trial result is closest in percentage terms, to the county qualifying time. Times achieved at the time trial or in session 3 will count for championship points (best score will be counted if swum twice). Please tick the 400m event on session 3 if you wish to be entered (which will be subject to time trial result). We have had to arrange the 400m event in this way due to pool availability and time restrictions.
Skins Events
Please do not "tick" to enter the skins events (events 13-16) as qualification for this event is from the results of the individual medley.
Closing date for club champs is Wednesday 12th November.
As usual, we will need volunteers over the course of the weekend. Please look to sign up on the jobs list over the coming days.
