WSSC Club Champs: Closing Date and 400m Results
Dear Swimmers/Parents
Club Championships - Closing Date and 400m Results
Thank you to everyone that helped & swam at last week's 400m time trials. Results can be found here. A reminder that these times are unlicensed.
The closing date for entries for club champs is the 12th (Weds) at midnight. If, at the 400m time trial, a swimmer achieved the Suffolk County qualifying time for their age group, they can (if they wish) enter the 400m freestyle in session 3 of the club champs to gain a licensed time. For any swimmer not achieving the county time, a waiting list will be created and any space in the session will be allocated in order starting with those whose time trial result is closest in percentage terms, to the county qualifying time. Times achieved at the time trial or in session 3 will count for championship points (best score will be counted if swum twice).
Please also be advised that although club championships is open to all club members, for dual club swimmers, only swimmers who have West Suffolk Swimming Club as their ranked club registered with Swim England on the 21st November 2025 will be eligible for awards (this also applies to the skins event).
The John Stemp Memorial trophies will be awarded to the boy/girl who has improved their 100m individual medley time the most since last year's championships. Only swimmers in Nemo, Skills 1 and Skills 2 are eligible. For more detailed information, please see the conditions.
And finally, a call for people to sign up to help over the weekend - the jobs list is open - thank you in advance.
Kind regards
Team WSSC
