Over 100 swimmers from all squads plus masters, coaches and parents swam over 550,000km in the 24hour period. And we are still counting training distances to finish our challenge!
So far we have raised over £2000 and people can still donate until the end of the month if missed out.
This event is open to all swimmers and their families, and we do hope that as many of you as possible will sign up to take part - as we have a long way to go!
Any money raised will be split between our club fundraising pot and our chosen charity - Yellow Submarine. This is an award-winning charity that believes people with learning disabilities and autism deserve to live life to the full. They offer a variety of services to those with mild to moderate needs including social clubs, activity days, residential holidays and a traineeship. Most of you will be familiar with the social enterprise cafe at WLC - and we think it is a great opportunity for us to show our support to this amazing charity through this event.
