Very well done to all our swimmers at Penzance for the County Teams Relays 2023. Our teams won 5 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals, plus we had 6x 4th places. A great team effort. The club had an amazing 15 swimmers qualify for the South West Regional Championships this year. Well done George, Evie, Lilly, Daisy, Lilia, Finn, Archie, Toby, Elliot, Tassy, Noah, Rufus, Tom, Josh & Izzie. Overall all our swimmers swam amazingly over 3 weekends of swimming, competing against swimmers from over 50 different clubs. There were lots of PBs, lots of top 20 finishes and lots of happy faces. What a fantastic County Championships Truro City had! Its a fantastic achievement to have so many medallists this year. Overall we had 31 medalists winning a total of 103 medals. With the fabulous performances at Interclub and Rising Stars we've got a really strong depth to the club now. Competitions continue to come thick and fast with our swimmers attending 3 meets in March where they will be trying to qualify for Regional and National Summer Champs.

What a fast and furious competition at Penzance Leisure Centre. We competed in Division 1 against Carn Brea & Helston, Newquay and Penzance. All our swimmers did their club proud with every one of them showing equal measures of talent and effort across the 48 races. Our very proud coaches and TMs want to thank all the swimmers for their efforts, especially the older ones who were brilliant in helping those younger and less experienced ones throughout the day.
