***NATIONAL MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022***

A brilliant weekend in Ponds Forge Pool at the Short Course Nationals for Teddington Swimming Club Masters

22 TSC Masters swimmers (15 Bionic Boys and 7 Wonder Women)

Individual Races: 14 Gold / 14 Silver / 13 Bronze

Relays: 24 Teams - 6 Gold / 7 Silver / 3 Bronze

That makes a total overall of 56 top 3 finishes!!

The Team Event: out of 277 teams, Teddington finished an astonishing 3rd - beating the likes of Loughborough Uni!!

Records:  Gina Heyn came very close to taking the British Record in the 100m and 50m Fly, only to be pipped by a fraction, with both swimmers breaking the old record. However, plenty to celebrate with a GB record in the 100 Breast and 200 IM. On top of this a GB and European record in the 100 IM.  Well done, Gina!!

So good seeing new club members joining for the first time, smashing out PB’s and coming away with medals.
