Again, a big thank you to everyone who helped me run Club Champs this year. Your time and efforts are hugely appreciated. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The results of our final Club Champs gala are here. Congratulations to Haoming Du and to Izzy Traynier, for their EBPs in 50m Breaststroke and 200m Freestyle respectively, and also to Kal-El Ntiamoah for breaking two long-standing records in 50m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke.
Please note that although these results have been sent to Rankings, they will not appear for a few days yet, as Rankings is closed until 2nd January. Please feel free to use them for your Kent entries however, as they have been checked and verified. A reminder that Kent entries are due to Lorraine Ellis by midnight on 2nd January 2020.
Another reminder that the Elementary Gala takes place on Sunday, 5th January, 2020 at The Spa, and I am sure Sasha and Nina would love to hear from you if you are able to help.

It’s that time of year again when we turn our attention to the BSC Club Championships 2019. Please click on the link below for the entry details:

Please ensure you read everything and that you provide all the requested information to speed up the processing of your entry.
The annual Club Championships will take place over 6 Monday evenings between September - December 2019 at The Spa, Beckenham. They are for swimmers in Blue, White, Bronze, Silver, Club and Performance squads (3, 2 & 1) and all distances/events are included in the schedule.
For swimmers new to the Club who haven’t entered these Championships before, please check with your Coach as to which events your child should enter & take a look at the Club Website. Open Meets -> Club Championships ...you'll need to be logged in to see past years' results and club records for each event or if you have any questions please email me.
Coaches would like all eligible swimmers to enter this Competition, especially as it falls within the main training timetable. We are a competitive swimming club and so swimmers should compete in these championships in order to make sense of all those hours of hard training throughout the year.
The format of these Championships is exactly the same as last year. We will be alternating the start between both girls and boys and the long distance events (800m and 1500m) are now open to both girls and boys (swimmers can only swim 1 event though given they're on the same evening). Please, as with all galas, check with your coach as to which events your children should be swimming.
As always, these championships cannot take place without the help of our Parents so please complete the Helpers/Officials form provided and send in together with your entry form as soon as possible. If you have never helped out before, please don't let this put you off - you will be given lots of guidance and there are a multitude of roles that need filling at each session! This also includes our officials - on a couple of sessions last year we were very close to not having the sessions licensed due to not having enough officials turn up so please, please let us know you can help out!
A Raffle will be held on the last Club Champs Session in December - further details will be sent out nearer the time.
