Please see the below updates which will be in affect from Monday 23rd August 2021 following discussions with South Ayrshire Council.

  • Changing rooms can be used before and after sessions along with access to the showers. Please note that swimmers are encouraged to spend the shortest amount of time in the changing rooms. Please do not use the showers and changing as a social area.

  • Swimmers do not need to queue outside and can enter the building on arrival. Please aim to be on poolside 5 minutes before the start of evening sessions.

  • For morning sessions, entry will be approximately 5 minutes after the staff have opened the buildings. Please can swimmers continue to come swim ready for the morning sessions. This will help to be on poolside efficiently and is also good practice for competitions.

  • The 10-minute gaps between squads leaving and arriving have been removed allowing squads to cross over. Please see the updated Timetable which reflects these changes.

  • All swimmers (including 12 & under) are still required to wear a mask when entering and leaving the building.

  • Spectating is now allowed at the Citadel only and we ask that all parents are sensible regarding this.

  • A reminder to not use the parent and child parking unless attending a parent and child swim class or public session. 

 

There are some slight alterations to how we will cross over at some sessions due to the swimming lesson times and numbers in the changing rooms / Poolside. Therefore, please could all parents and swimmers follow the below additional changes to the previous updates.

 

Prestwick Development

  • Monday                    Wait in the changing room at the gates to be allowed on poolside prior to session (7pm)

  • Wednesday               Swimmers can use the changing rooms from 6:20pm (not before).

 

Troon Development

  • Wednesday              Wait in the changing room at the gates to be allowed on poolside prior to session (7pm)

  • Sunday                       Swimmers come swim ready and change on Pool Side

 

Junior Club

  • Thursday     Wait in the changing room at the gates to be allowed on poolside prior to session (7pm)

 

Junior Competition

  • Sunday                       Swimmers come swim ready and change on Pool Side
