Ghana's Nubia Adjei Makes Waves at Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Championship

Team Ghana's Nubia Adjei delivered a stellar performance at the recent Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Championship held in Accra from October 3rd to 5th. Competing in ​eight events, ​N​ubia showcased her exceptional talent against a backdrop of fierce competition.

The championship, which saw nearly ​​200 swimmers from 17 West and Central African nations​, Nubia Gained massive success securing an impressive haul of medals: two gold, two silver, and one bronze​. Adding to her accolades, ​N​ubia was also awarded a cup for achieving the ​t​hird-highest Aqua points among senior female swimmers at the competition. 

​​This is a massive achievement for Nubia and any aspiring young swimmer, to be able to compete for their country, and we are so incredibly proud of her!
