New Year - Welcome our new Head coach!

As we kick off the new year, we are thrilled to introduce Stuart Donald as the new Head Coach of Sutton and Cheam Swimming Club.

Stuart's journey in the world of swimming began with his active participation in local clubs during his youth. His transition to coaching followed the attainment of his qualifications, leading him to instruct at schools and swimming centres alongside the role of part-time coach at Sutton Atlantis, culminating in his appointment as their head coach. During his tenure, Stuart worked closely with swimmers, guiding them to attain county and regional accolades.

Stuart made a significant move to Guildford City SC, where his contributions were instrumental in his subsequent appointment as the Head Coach of Elmbridge Swimming Club. His efforts have been pivotal in the development and success of the club. Notably, Stuart's coaching ability saw him accompany one of our swimmers to the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

We are delighted to welcome Stuart to our club and are eager to embark on this new chapter under his leadership.
