If you are looking for swimming lessons, a new swimming club or want to move from lessons to club swimming then why not come along for an assessment of your swimming and start off your competitive swimming career at Bourne End Swimming Club?

We offer swimming lessons, a competitive swimming club and a masters section for adult swimmers.

Swim Development Programme

Our swimming lessons take place at Court Garden Sports Complex in Marlow. We take children able to progress across the pool (~5-7m) unaided on their front and back and develop their strokes and water skills through 30 minute sessions to the National Plan for Teaching Swimming. The lessons are a pre-competitive system, designed to create the right skill set for swimmers to progress to the main competitive swimming club and continue into a competitive swimming environment.

Please contact us to register your interest to with our club and when you would like an assessment. Assessments are held on Friday evenings at Court Garden on a continuous basis.

Swimming Club

Typical entry level for the Competitive section is the ability to swim 25m in front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke.

The trial will consist of an assessment of your swimmer's ability in each stroke so that we can place them in the squad which best suits their current ability and provides the right environment for their development in our sport. Once we have carried out this assessment, we will contact you with the outcome of your assessment and invite you to join the selected squad from the start of the next swimming term or sooner if places are available.

Swimming assessments for the Competitive Section are held on Sundays at 4:30pm at Wycombe Leisure Centre. Please contact us to register your interest with our club and when you would like an assessment.

Masters Swimming

To join our Masters section you need to be able to swim at least 200m continuously. This can be using any stroke and in any time.

Please contact us to register your interest and arrange to come along for a trial session. Our Masters squad train on Thursday and Sunday evenings at Wycombe Leisure Centre.
