BBATT Main Events - 24th & 25th September 2022
Another fast and furious BBATT swim meet is done and dusted. 28 Bourne End swimmers had a terrific time last weekend.
There were PBs galore and the jingle jangle of medals. For some swimmers, it was the first time they've ever competed and set times. We hope the experience spurs them on to want to enter future competitions. There were also a few disqualifications; discussed with each swimmer to help them learn from their mistakes.
What was incredibly pleasing to see was the mutual support and encouragement of our swimmers for each other, but also for swimmers from other clubs. The phrase "speed and power" will ring loudly in the ears of many for a while to come.
