Our welfare officers are Hannah Saxton and Peter Miller. Hannah has been part of the club for many years firstly supporting her own children and more latterly as a coach. Peter has been part of the Masters swimming squad for the past three years. Both have extensive experience of working with young people and their families and in safeguarding. Hannah and Peter will share the post.
The role is to provide a first point of contact for children and adults within the club who have a safeguarding or welfare concern. We also ensure that those working as volunteers in the club have the appropriate safeguarding checks and training. They are independent of the club committee, and can link directly with the regional welfare officer at Swim England
If you wish to contact them there is an email [email protected]
