County Squad

Entry Requirements

• Target Age Group 12+
• Able to demonstrate high technical proficiency in all four strokes and turns
• The achievement of target performance criteria as determined by the Head Coach - currently a minimum of 1 county qualifying time
• The demonstration of a HIGH level of commitment to training (as below), targeted meets and club galas

Attainment

• Swimming to compete with progression through League Galas, County, Regional and National Championships

Commitment required 

• Attend a minimum of 3 of the 4 week day sessions per week, in addition to maintaining a 60% week day average over a rollling 3 month period 
• Demonstrate commitment to availability for Club Galas, Targeted Open Meets, County, Regional and National Championships

Notes

• All published entry levels are the minimum levels expected
• The squad will be reviewed at the end of each macro cycle by the Head Coach
• When squad numbers and / or performance dictate squad changes, preference will be given to swimmers with a proven record of commitment and attainment
• The Head Coach will have the final say in all squad moves
