What we offer

Norwich Swan Swimming Club runs a comprehensive, Learn to Swim programme that takes swimmers from absolute beginners and gives them opportunity to progress to Regional and National standard within the Club. 

The Club operates The Swim England Learn to Swim Programme which is the leading national teaching syllabus for delivering safe, inclusive and effective swimming lessons for all ages.

The structured and progressive content is based on a games-led approach to ensure children enjoy learning.  The Programme provides motivation and support for children at every level, from their first splash to gaining their enhanced aquatic skills.

All teachers are Swim England qualified and have Child Protection training and clearance.

Our group swimming lessons are suitable for children from four years old.

Norwich Swan swimming lessons cost £24 a month payable through our monthly online billing system. (For any billing queries please contact [email protected])

Lessons are once a week and 30 minutes long.

Progression

After completing "Learn to Swim" stage 5 swimmers progress to Transition Squad sessions where technique and skills are developed further for stages 6 and 7 with opportunities given to try swimming competitively.  Swimmers can then progress through a range of squads: They can compete for the club in a range of Galas and take part in Open Meets and Championships at County, Regional, and National level.  We also offer a pathway for swimmers who want to train for fitness in a structured session but do not wish to compete.
