Swimming Teacher and Coach for the past 12 years.
Mariana loves working with children and finds it a joy being able to help children become better swimmers and reach their full potential. Mariana joined SCSC in 2013.
Louise Murrell
COACH
Louise is a Level 2 Coach and ASA level 2 teacher with many years experience working with all age groups from pre-school to adults. Louise was Assistant Coach for our County Squad, where she gained and improved her coaching skill set before taking on responsibility of our County Development Squad.
Louise was recognised as having a talent for swimming at 5 years old and went on to be a very successful competitive swimmer. Representing Sussex and meeting Princess Diana were some of her highlights in her swimming career. She has always had a passion for swimming and still swims regularly to keep fit and try out new drills on herself before her swimmers! Louise loves to see children improve, succeed and enjoy their swimming and encourages them to be the best that they can be in a positive environment.
John Mills OLY
COACH
John is a Level 3 Coach : GB Olympic Swimmer 1972 & 1976 and Commonwealth England Captain 1977-78. John joined SCSC in October 2011 as Head Coach and has taken SCSC swimmers and teams to the National Swimming Championships every year from 2012-2020 and to the Olympic trials. John retired as our Head Coach in August 2020 but still supports the club in coaching. John was given the honour of becoming a life member of SCSC.
Aaron Vencatachellum
COACH
Aaron is a Level 2 Swimming Coach, and an ASA level 2 teacher. He has been swimming since 6 months old and is passionate about all sports and is a foodie fan. Aaron represented South Croydon at both County and Regional levels and was voted in as club captain twice. He is experienced in working with both adults and children to gain confidence in the water.
Rachel Wootton

ASA Level 2 Coach: County Swimmer. Rachel is one of the founder members of South Croydon Swimming Club.
