Olympic and Paralympics Hero's Return Poole Swimming Club is super proud to offer a massive well done to our Olympic and Para-Olympic Hero's. Jacob Peters returns home earning 22nd in the 100m Butterfly. Jacob started with Poole Swimming Club as an 8-year-old, who was spotted in a schools swimming gala. FESTIVAL HEADLINERS ARE YOU READY!!! Poole Swimming Club will be well represented at the Southwest Festival of Swimming this weekend. The competition in the Southwest is split across two venues at Plymouth and Millfield School. With Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire based swimmers competing at Millfield. NATIONAL ARENA JUNIOR LEAGUE 2021: ROUND 2 Round 2 of the National Arena Junior League took place on 19th June. Following on from our success in Round 1, we raced two teams: Poole Roar and Poole Pride. We also swam a reserve team: Poole Cubs, so that as many swimmers as possible were able to race. Leo McCrea aged 17 has qualified for Switzerland for the Para Olympics held in Tokyo from 24 August to 5th September 2021. Leo started his journey with Poole Swimming Club and was nurtured by coaches Kate, Maralyn and the late Jean Holland, shaping his skills with coach Becky Dowling, before joining Bournemouth Collegiate School and for sixth from attending Mount Kelly School....

British Triathlon Super Series Poole SC’s Elite Triathletes, Ryan S and brothers Liam and Ryan O were flying the club's flag this weekend, in the Borwood Aquathon, which forms part of performance races and assessments that contribute towards Junior and Youth National Rankings. British Swimming Glasgow Meet 2021 This was the final preparation meet for the British Olympic team and the final opportunity for swimmers to gain qualification times. Swim England Level X Racing Series 1 During December 2020, the club took part in the Swim England Level X Racing series. In essence, Level X racing provided an opportunity for us to run in-house time trials with all the results being submitted to Swim England’s Rankings database.
