Watford SC Regional Qualifier Gala

Watford Swimming Club held our annual Regional Qualifier gala on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of March. Around 350 Swimmers from 15 different swimming clubs were all trying to secure their regional qualifying times. There were some great swims, and it was noted by a visiting senior referee from the East Region that the standard of swimming was very high. We were delighted to welcome as our special guest Jane O'Brien, Swim England Hertfordshire President, who presented medals to the winners. The gala ran very smoothly, and was well supported by a lot of officials from visiting clubs, as well as our own officials. Thank you to the meet promoter and the team of volunteers from Watford SC for putting on a great gala.
