Jamie Evans - Head Coach (Working with National Youth Group, County & Link Squads).
Jamie joined the coaching team in 2013 and since then has worked with various COLSC squads. Since taking over as Head Coach Jamie has managed to produce multiple Junior International Swimmers/Medalisits, multiple National Champions and Medalists, multiple British Trials Qualifers and British Age Group/Regional/Leicestershire County record holders. From this sucess Jamie has been selected for all stages of the Swim England Talent Pathway as well as being part of the Coach 2024 programme.
Harry Pickering – Head Age Group Coach (Working with National Age Group, Regional, County & Link Squads)
Harry began working with CoL in 2021. Before CoL Harry coached at Wirral Metro where he worked with swimmers from County to National level taking multiple swimmers to British/English Summer Championships. Harry has been part of the coaching team on the England Programme Phase 1 Camps.
Guy Jolley - Performance Coach (Working across all Squads)
Guy's journey into swimming coaching began with a passion for the sport and a desire to help others improve. As a Level 2 coach, Guy's focus is on competitive swimming development, working to refine techniques and build strong foundations for athletes to succeed. Guy finds seeing the growth of swimmers he works with and watching them reach their potiental incredibly rewarding.
Lauren Freeman - Performance Coach (Working across all Squads)
With over ten years of coaching and teaching experience in swimming, Lauren began in para-coaching before moving into mainstream coaching. As a level two swim coach and teacher, along with holding qualifications as a land-based coach, Lauren’s coaching philosophy emphasises technique, discipline and enjoyment, working towards swimmers reaching their full potential and promoting a lifelong love for the sport whilst developing the mental resilience needed to succeed both inside and outside of the pool.
