​SwimMark Accreditation

Formerly called Swim21, SwimMark accreditation is Swim England’s quality standard for clubs. It recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness.

Hitchin Swimming Club has the SwimMark Essential accreditation. The focus of this accreditation is to assist clubs develop processes which achieve good governance, grow membership, develop volunteers and ensure activity is sustainable and in line with club objectives.

Being SwimMark accredited also means that Hitchin Swimming Club is “Clubmark” accredited – this is the Sport England mark of high quality junior sports clubs.
