For ESB Members of any age follow the below steps:

Familiarise yourself with your Swim Ireland account and all the tabs:

Email [email protected] and ask if you can do voluntary work helping ESB’s swimming lessons

Email [email protected] and ask to be registered for the “Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teacher (e-learning module)”

Email [email protected] and ask to be registered for the “Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teacher (virtual module)”

For Members aged 16 years and over follow all the above steps in conjunction with the below:

Apply for Garda Vetting with ESB by following the  instructions on : https://www.swimireland.ie/about/safeguarding/vetting

Watch your email (and junk mail) for the next step in vetting

On your Swim Ireland account go to the Events and Courses Tab. Select a Safeguarding Level 1 Course and email the details to [email protected]

When all the above steps are completed On your Swim Ireland account go to the Events and Courses Tab. Select a Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teacher Practical Course and email the details to [email protected]
