To develop good swim technique you need to buy and bring a Snorkel & Fins
Training fins are shorter than diving flippers. Fins vary in size so you need to choose ones that fit your feet. 

Alignment board

Mesh swim bag.

Senior Squad and Junior A also need Paddles: size should be just bigger than hand

Equipment can be purchased at swimkit (link below) but shop around. Don't worry about the brand name of any of this equipment; there are lots of different brands.

And remember you need to bring a Water Bottle with you to training!

Wear club colors!! 

Swim Ireland require swimmers at Galas between events wear a T Shirt, Shorts and footwear (e.g. flip flops or slides), so please make sure the clothing is the ESB Club Gear available from Swimkit. It takes 6 weeks from the time of order for the club gear to arrive. Swimkit also stocks ESB swim togs and ESB light long sleeved tops.
