Back in the heady days that were the end of 2020, during covid lockdowns and cancelled Christmas pans, we undertook review of the club as it stood then and where we wanted it to go in the future. Starting from March 31st, we will now be training on Thursday's at Canons Leisure Centre from 6-7pm. This session will be for our Orange and Gold groups and allows us to offer more time in the pool for our swimmers which is what they want. The competition on Saturday, was a massive success and congratulations go to the swimmers on the Blue team who came away as the winners. We are proud to announce our very first club captains and vice captains: Captains - Prince and Emilia C Vice Captains - Melanine and Mia M All of them have demonstrated the sort of dedication and maturity in their approach to training and all club activities that we hope for from all our swimmers. We are confident they will make excellent role models for younger swimmers and ambassadors for the club.

The club has updated it's constitution for this year, so please visit the policies page on our website to read the updated version. The main changes are updated club membership names, in line with recent changes brought in by Swim England and the introduction of a 1 month notice period for all membership cancellations. Ahead of our upcoming competitions, a few people mentioned having difficulty finding swimwear. Training for all groups will continue as normal during half term. The club will stop for 2 weeks over Christmas, from December 20th to January 2nd. The last day of training before the Christmas break will be Sunday 19th December and the first day after will be Friday 7th January.

We are having a club meeting on Friday 22nd October at 6pm. This will be run mainly as a Q & A session where parents can ask questions about all aspects of the club along with our future plans. If you have any question you'd like answered at the meeting, please submit them by email by Wednesday 20th October. Doing this will help us answer as many questions as we can during the meeting.

We're pleased to announce that we have been accepted into a local swimming league, the Pentagon League. This will see us taking part in galas five times a year alongside four other local clubs, offering our swimmers the regular opportunities in competitions we have been working hard to find.
