Crawley Spring National LC Qualifier

Well done Crawley Gala Swimmers !

Orpington Ojays saw some really tough competition this weekend at K2 Crawley. With 67 clubs participating and with many swimmers there to chase National qualification times, our 26 swimmers performed amazingly well against some of the country’s fastest swimmers. We came home with 3 golds, 7 silvers, 5 bronzes, 24 individual PBs and some gutsy performances with everyone giving it their all in the usual Ojays style.

Thank you to coach Joe, all our brilliant team managers, officials  and supporters without whom we simply would not be able to attend these galas. A special shout out to Blythe who impressed everyone with her general knowledge skills after our impromptu trivia quiz on Sunday morning 😊
