Kent Weald Swim Sqauds 7th Last Chance County Qualifier The KWSS Last Chance County Qualifier, held in Gillingham on Saturday and Sunday, 3rd–4th January, was another outstanding weekend for the club, culminating in an impressive medal tally of 12 gold, 24 silver, and 17 bronze. Arena League Round Two It was back to Burgess Hill on Saturday 8th November for Round 2 of the National Arena Swimming League, where the team delivered a strong performance to secure 4th place overall. The night featured several standout swims, including a brilliant win from the Girls 11 & Under Freestyle Relay team of Hayley, Isabel, Joelliane and Prisha, whose speed and teamwork earned them a well-deserved first place. It was a busy, and brilliant weekend for our squad swimmers, with action across two competitions and our camp swimmers returning from a sunny week in Malaga. Our younger swimmers absolutely dominated the Kent Junior Meet at Tunbridge Wells Leisure Centre this weekend. The team of 32 swimmers competed in 177 individual events, and we certainly left our mark on the meet.. Leagues, the County Relay Championships and club championship galas have kept our swimmers very busy. Ojays and Tonbridge Dual On Friday 6th June, a team of 60 swimmers travelled to Tonbridge Leisure Centre for our much-anticipated annual head-to-head meet against Tonbridge Swimming Club. The competition was fierce throughout the night, with both teams giving it their all in every event. Despite the outstanding effort shown by our swimmers, Tonbridge proved the stronger side this year and came away with the win. Tudor League Champions 2025 On Saturday 17th May, the team returned to The Spa for the fifth and final round of this year’s Tudor League, and what an fantastic night of racing it turned out to be. Fittingly, in the 50th year of both the Tudor League and Orpington Ojays, the evening was filled with drama, determination, and pride. News Tudor League Round 4 It was another win for our Tudor League Team on Saturday 12th April. We are now in a strong position going into the final round this Saturday 17th May, three league points clear of our closest rivals Bexley and Tonbridge.
