Kent Junior League Round 3
On Saturday 24th September, Orpington Ojays attended the final round of the Kent Junior League 2022 at Crook Log where we finished 5th in our half of the division. It was great evening of racing and with some unfortunate last-minute injuries and sickness, the coaches and the team mangers had to work hard to get events reorganised and the team, as always, rose to the challenge. We had some fantastic races, with swimmers getting some new PBs and we certainly gave it everything. Special thanks to Ben Farthing, Lucas Bond and Shekinah Olatunji for stepping up to cover off events on the night where we had missing swimmer….we certainly had some very tired boys at the end of evening!

It was also a very special day for Andrew and Aaron who tunrned 13 on the day and they celebrated their Birthday with a few of their Ojays friends after the gala.
Well done to everyone on the final team and to those that represented Ojays over the 3 rounds.
