Crawley Summer Splash Gala

Orpington Ojays Swim Club put in an outstanding performance at last Saturday’s Crawley Summer Splash gala, showcasing our swimmer’s exceptional talent and determination in the early morning hours and despite the long day ahead in the heat, every swimmer rose to the occasion making the club and parents proud.

With an impressive 60% of entries resulting in a top 6 finish, Ojays proved their mettle against tough competition and made their mark securing an impressive total of 43 medals.... and that's over half of all our swimmers competing securing at least a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal! Among the highlights were several swimmers who also earned their first-ever medal, marking a significant milestone in their swimming journey.

An astounding 53% of swims resulted in personal best (PB) times, an achievement reflecting the dedication and hard work put in by our swimmers and demonstrating their commitment to constant improvement. Their positive attitude and discipline and support for each other throughout the day was truly a credit to the club and a testament to the values instilled by their coaches and parents.

Congratulations to all the swimmers for their incredible achievements, and Orpington Ojays can proudly celebrate their success, knowing they have represented their club with unwavering dedication and class.
