Ojays take second place in the Tudor League

- Admin

In an exhilarating finale to The Tudor League, our ojays team put in an awe-inspiring performance, securing a commendable second-place finish in the league. The stakes were high as we vied to defend our coveted shield against formidable rivals Bexley who were just a point ahead of us going into the last round. Although narrowly missing out on the top spot, our swimmers left an indelible mark, delivering a series of outstanding performances that we can be very proud of.

Congratulations to our 53 swimmers who participated in the Tudor League over the course of the six rounds:

Aaron, Aarya, Alex, Alexandru, Alice, Andrew, Andrey, Ansh, Anya, Benjamin, Callum, Carys, Ciar, Conrad, Eisen, Eliot, Ellie G, Ellie B, Elliot, Emilia, Emilie, Emily, Emily, Eve, Faith, Finola, Fotios, George, Grace, Hana, Henry, Isabel, Jack, Jacob, James C, James Y, Lauren B, Lauren A, Lucas, Max, Mia, Mingyang, Olivia, Philip, Pia, Pragnya, Roslyn, Saahithi, Saanvika, Samuel, Scarlett, Shekinah, Shilin and Simon

In the end it it was a 2-horse race and it just came down to 2 more event wins than us and just 1.5 points difference in points!

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the coaching staff, team managers, and officials who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support our swimmers and we would like to express our appreciation to the families whose unwavering support has been a pillar of strength throughout the 6 months of competition, and ofcourse a big congratulations to Bexley Swimming Club on their victory.

Rest assured, we will return next year, more determined than ever, to reclaim the coveted shield that has graced our trophy cabinet over the last year. We came so close!
