Summer Nationals 2024

Congratulations to our five swimmers who have qualified for summer national meets this year!

First up is Scottish Nationals this weekend, which sees Tom and George in action in Aberdeen.Then it’s the turn of the girls Blythe, Ellie, and Hannah, who we be swimming at English Nationals at Ponds Forge, Sheffield at the end of July, beginning of August.

If you would like to show you support and follow their endeavours, you can do so in the following ways.

Scottish Summer Nationals 12^th – 14^th July

The boys are competing in the following events:

George

Friday 12^th July Afternoon: 100m Breaststroke

Sunday 14^th July Afternoon: 50m Breaststroke

Tom

Sunday 14^th July Morning: 400m Individual Medley & 50m Breaststroke.

If the boys make a final, they will swim again in the evening.

Unfortunately, the event is not streamed but all the results will be on Meet mobile.

English Summer Nationals 29^th July – 1^st August

Tuesday 30^th July morning Blythe & Ellie 200m Freestyle

Wednesday 31^st July afternoon Ellie 800m Freestyle

Thursday 1^st August morning Ellie 400m Freestyle

Friday 2^nd August morning Blythe 200m Butterfly and Blythe & Hannah 200m Backstroke

Friday 2^nd August morning Sam Ryan will be swimming for his school Mount Kelly in 200m Butterfly

Apart from the 800m Freestyle, which is HDW, should our swimmers make a final, they will be in the evening of the same day.
