Bexley Summer Sizzler 13th & 14th July
Our last open gala of the season saw sixty-four swimmers head to Crook Log for Bexley SC’s Summer Sizzler. What a fantastic couple of days they all had too, bringing home an astonishing 106 medals! A total of 43 gold medals were won by Aaron, Alfie, Andrew, Ben, Ciar, Daisy, Donir, Ela, Ellie G, Eliot, Faith, Lauren, Lucas, Maria, Nola, Pragnya, Roslyn, Shekinah, Tania, and Vats, with a further 33 silver medals and 29 bronze. This is one of our best medal hauls this season. Our swimmers were determined to finish the season on a high, with their hard work and dedication over the past season resulting in an abundance of pb’s too. Thank you to coaches Joe and Simon for their support and guidance across the weekend. And a big thank you to our officials and team managers, who in some cases gave up their entire weekend to poolside duties. You can now have a well-earned rest, for a few weeks at least.

Scottish Summer Nationals
The first of our national swimmers have been in action, George and Tom from Top squad made the long trip to Aberdeen, after qualifying for their home nation’s summer nationals. Both boys had a great couple of days, narrowly missing out on a place in their age group 50m breaststroke final. Tom beat his qualification time in his 400m Individual Medley and George did the same for his 100m Breaststroke. Congratulations boys we are very proud of you!
