- Admin

Orpington Ojays is proud to announce the appointment of Ross Hunter as the new head coach. Ross brings a wealth of experience and success from his previous position as assistant head coach at Mid Sussex Marlins, where he played a pivotal role in developing swimmers and preparing them for county, regional and national competitions. Ross continues to be actively involved in the South East Region para-swimming programme.

“During my time at Mid Sussex Marlins, I led and implemented performance and competitive training programs, focusing on stroke refinement and physiological preparation, which led to the club's swimmers achieving top-tier results. Elevating and inspiring swimmers is at the core of my philosophy.”

“I'm thrilled to step into the role of head coach at Orpington Ojays. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of swimmers and coaches to help the club achieve even greater success. I look forward to creating a supportive yet challenging environment that encourages athletes to strive for their best.”

“I would like to thank Joe for his hard work leading the club to its current position and wish him all the best for his next challenge in his new career”

Ross will join the club with immediate affect and will be active across all squads from Monday 28th October. Please join us in welcoming Ross to our Ojays family.
