About Our Club

Oldham Seals Amateur Swimming Club has been at the heart of the local swimming community since the early 19th century, established in 1910.

The Club operates out of Oldham Leisure Centre with the aim of providing swimmers in the Borough of Oldham and surrounding areas with the best training, encouragement, and motivation to bring out their natural ability and potential in order for them to be the best they can possibly be.

Previously a Swim England Affilicated Club, Oldham Seals Amateur Swimming Club have now gained Swim Mark Accreditation (Oct 2023)

Head Coach Zoe, along with 3 experienced coaches, and assisted by poolside helpers provide structured and enjoyable sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Throughout the year as a Club, we take part in three Bolton, Central and Manchester (BCM) Leagues, up to four open gala weekends (meets), hold our own club championships, and have days out as well as presentation nights and fundraising events.

Oldham Seals is a proud Club with a family feel, ran by a wonderful committee of volunteers.

The club is a non-profit organisation, with all funds raised going back into the Club or to good local causes.
