At the Sefton Sports Awards presentation evening on Wednesday 8th July, held at the New Theatre the club came away with two prestigious awards. The first was the Girls 14 and under 4 x 100m freestyle team who won the National Championships in 2014 being named Seftons Top Team. The team consisting of Emma Whittingham, Niamh Wilgar, Ella Johnson and Holly Hibbott.
Next up was Seftons Sports Personality of the year award. This was won by the clubs European 800m freestyle Champion Holly Hibbott who was unable to collect her award due to being on International Duty at the European Open Water Championships in Switzerland. This was fantastic publicity for the club making a statement how well the club is achieving on a National stage. Well done to all the girls.
