Introduction

Southport Swimming Club is a small club with under 100 members currently. The club could not survive without the efforts and commitment of willing volunteers and helpers drawn from across the club and parents of club members. This band of tireless volunteers not only form the Club Committee, but are also at poolside, galas and other events ensuring the club is run efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. Like many, Southport Swimming Club was dramatically impacted by the COVID pandemic loosing almost half of it's members. We are therefore looking to raise funds to invest into the Club and re-build our membership numbers. 

Why do we need help from sponsors?

We are a non-profit-making club run by volunteers. All fees and sponsorship money are re-invested into the club for our ongoing development and benefit of our members. The club is seeking to raise funds via sponsors who share our goals of nurturing the fantastic wealth of talent that this club attracts. All funds generated by sponsorship will be reinvested into the club to enable us to ensure that our swimmers have access to the training facilities and equipment they require. This could also include:

  • development and training of our team of coaches, helpers and volunteers
  • increasing the provision of pool time
  • repairs and replacement of equipment (starting blocks, timing pads, flags, lane ropes etc.)
  • competition software
  • trophies and medals
  • promotional material
  • transportation to team meets
  • cost of our hosted club galas and meets
  • training camps

What does it cost to sponsor the Club?
