Sandwell Aquatics Club Open  Meet, Sandwell Aquatics Centre, Birmingham.

Last weekend, swimmers from Wells attended the Sandwell Aquatics Club Trident Open Meet at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Birmingham. The Aquatics centre is a state of the art facility built for the 2022 Commonwealth games. Our squad of 16 Swimmers were outstanding, achieving over 60 Personal best times, numerous County and Regional qualifying times and a handful of medals and ribbons - unbelievable considering this was only the second Meet of the season!

This weekend was not just about the racing. We stayed in hotels near to the venue, providing an opportunity to eat together and do some valuable team building in the evenings. This was amazing for the swimmers, but also for our amazing Coaches, Team Managers and Parents who dedicate a lot of time to our club and swimmers.
