Swim Bournemouth Level 2 Short Course Meet. Another fantastic weekend away for Wells this weekend. This time at the South Coast for the Bournemouth Level 2 Short Course Meet. Our 16 Wells swimmers came away with an impressive 17 Gold medals, 11 Silver medals and 15 Bronze medals, with too many PBs to count! Several swimmers also secured County Qualifying Times, Regional Consideration Times and Regional Qualifying Times. Good on land, good in the pool! Tuesday nights are land training nights at Wells. Our Performance and Junior Performance squads spend an hour in the gym prior to their pool session, under the expert guidance of our fantastic, in-house Physiotherapists Mel and James. Well done to our Masters Relay Team! A huge well done to our Wells Masters Relay Team: Mel, Fay, James and Lauren who competed at the Somerset County Relay day on Sunday in the 200m Medley and 200 Freestyle relays. Sandwell Aquatics Club Open Meet, Sandwell Aquatics Centre, Birmingham. Last weekend, swimmers from Wells attended the Sandwell Aquatics Club Trident Open Meet at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Birmingham. The Aquatics centre is a state of the art facility built for the 2022 Commonwealth games. Somerset County Development Meet 2025. Well done to our younger Wells Swimmers who took part in the Somerset County Development Meet at Millfield this weekend. Across the two days our swimmers took part in 50 events with 44 PBs, 2 Gold medals (Lily & Bella), 3 Silver medals (Natasha & Bella) and 3 bronze medals (Natasha, Maja). 6 speeding tickets were also awarded for Evie, William and Ralph.
