Good on land, good in the pool!
Tuesday nights are land training nights at Wells. Our Performance and Junior Performance squads spend an hour in the gym prior to their pool session, under the expert guidance of our fantastic, in-house Physiotherapists Mel and James.
The sessions are fun and are based around developing fundamental movement skills, which when combined with the core aquatic skills learned in the pool, increases the physical literacy of our athletes - the foundation for an effective and efficient swimming technique.
The additional targeted strength and conditioning has a huge impact on our athletes performance in the pool.
