Wells Swimming Club

Wells SC are a competitive swimming club based in Wells, Somerset. We train at various locations around the Wells area including Millfield Swimming Pool, Millfield Prep School, Wells Cathedral School and Wells Leisure Centre. We currently support swimmers from Stage 6 in our Pre-squad, up to regional level in our Performance and Junior Performance Squads. We also belong to the City of Bristol (CoB) Aquatics network scheme that provides our talented swimmers with additional sessions with CoB. Our aim is to give each and every swimmer support, nurturing and guidance so that they can truly develop into the best that they can be.

Our swimmers develop a full range of competitive skills to improve and enhance each stroke, together with strength, flexibility and functional movement.

At Wells you will be welcomed into a friendly team.  A team that through the application of fun, friendship and quality coaching, will get you ready to make the best out of your swimming journey, knowing that everyone around you is doing the same, every step of the way.

Our swimmers compete in regular leagues and open meets, as well as County and Regional Championships. Come join us and see what a difference we can make to your swimming and what fun can be had in the process.

The club is managed and ran by a team of extremely dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers and parents, from Coaches to Welfare Officers, Team Managers, Fundraisers and our Committee, who work very hard behind the scenes to provide a successful, friendly and fun orientated culture, for our members to enjoy and thrive in.
