Annual Membership Fee

(Annual Membership Fee is not applicable to the Junior Section and Masters)

For all swimmers, except those in the Junior Section and Masters, an annual membership fee is charged, this is in addition to training fees. The annual membership fee is reviewed each year in September and covers Swim England Membership, London Region fee, Middlesex County fee, insurance and general overheads of the club, plus entry to all eligible Club Championships held throughout the year.

The annual membership fee is due no later than 31st December in each year to retain membership, or for new members from the date full membership commenced. New members are required to pay the annual membership fee of £95.00 upon having their full Club membership confirmed.

The annual membership fee for 2026 for existing members has been set at £80.00 per swimmer to cover increased pool hire charges and operating costs.

Please note that should you choose to leave the Club, then, other than for the Junior Section, a full months notice is required, which enables us time to complete the necessary administration. Please refer to section below.

Please note that the above monthly fees are calculated by reference to the clubs total recurring annual costs being divided by 12 months. Training fees are paid every month in equal instalments as stated above for each squad, therefore including the summer holidays when the number of training sessions is reduced for a short time and planned meets throughout the year.

Hillingdon Swimming Club is committed to ensure that our club is open to the whole community, including those on low or modest incomes. We would be prepared to consider a request for a reduction from the parent/guardian of any swimmer for whom these swim fees and other costs associated with membership represent a significant obstacle to joining or remaining with us.

Please be aware that any such application would require a full declaration of the applicant’s financial position. Any concession granted would be at the sole discretion of the club’s Executive Committee and would be subject to review at least annually and immediately if the applicant’s circumstances change.

Resignation from the Club

One months notice is required to enable us to complete the necessary administration. Swim England registration and membership will be lapsed by the end of this period.

Depending on the date in the month notice of leaving is given, a 25/50/75% payment will be put through after notice has been received to cover the notice period fee, then parents are free to cancel their GoCardless mandate after it has cleared, as long as there are no outstanding gala entry fees to be collected.
