Team Meets

As a club we are involved in a number of Team Meets every year.

Team Meets are fast and exciting galas where clubs compete against one another as teams, scoring points based on placings in each race, as opposed to having swimmers race as individuals against one another for individual success.

Team Meets are comprised of both relay and individual events and as such swimmers selected to compete for the team may be selected to swim either a relay or individual race or, sometimes, both.

As a club we see it as an honour for swimmers to be identified and selected to represent the club in these team events.

M11 Junior League

The M11 Junior League is a regional based competition comprised of swimmers aged 9-12 years of age. The competition is a mix of relay and individiual events over 25m and 50m distances.

Hillingdon SC compete against clubs from across London and Essex in the premier division of the league, consistently qualifying for the top 8 final gala each season.

The league runs over 3 rounds which take place in April, May and June each year.

National Arena Swimming League

The National Arena Swimming League is the "premier" club team competition in the UK. Clubs are organised into eight regional groups comprising of a number of divisions. Races are a mix of both relays and individuals with swimmers divided into four age groups; 9-11 / 12-13 / 14-15 / Open Age.

Hillingdon SC compete in the Premier Division of the London League. There are three rounds of the league each season, held in October, November and December. At the end of the three rounds those clubs at the bottom of the league are relegated to the division below, while the teams finishing at the top of each regions premier division qualify for the National Finals.

Hillingdon SC have a proud history of consistently finishing in the top 8 of the London premier division while we have also qualified for the National Finals on a number of occasions. Since 2019 Hillingdon SC have also had a 'B' Team which competes in Division 2 of the London League.

The National Arena Swimming League has a prominent position within our annual competition calendar. As such we expect that all selected swimmers make themselves available to represent the club at these events.

The National Arena Junior Swimming League is the "junior" version of the National Arena Swimming League with the inaugural competition starting in 2021. Clubs are organised into eight regional groups comprising of a number of divisions. Races are a mix of both relays and individuals with swimmers divided into four age groups; 9 / 10 / 11 / 12.

Hillingdon SC compete in the Premier Division of the London League. There are three rounds of the league each season, held in April, May and June. At the end of the three round those clubs at the bottom of the league are relegated to the division below, while the teams finishing at the top of each regions premier division qualify for the National Finals.
